Each of us has our own story with the pine tree, or as we fondly call it, the Christmas tree. Whether natural or artificial, spruce or fir, decorating it on Christmas Eve or weeks before, when the decorated tree should stand in the house, what kind of decorations to choose... Advocates of natural trees are ready to list numerous arguments why they are better, and stories about forest cutting no longer hold water because we all know that Christmas trees intended for sale are grown deliberately and do not grow spontaneously in forests. Moreover, they are excellent air purifiers and biodegradable, and if you buy a tree in a pot, you can plant it in your own garden. By buying a natural tree, you help local producers. However, my friend Branka has a very special story about the Christmas tree, and it's - artificial. She has been using her tree for years, and after each Christmas, she puts it away and takes it out again the next year. Where's the story in that? The story lies in the ornaments. We, Branka's friends, brought her one Christmas ornament from our travels from different countries, back when traveling was still possible. So, Branka's tree is adorned with magical ornaments from the Grand Canyon, Capri... from near and far exotic countries. For each ornament, Branka knows exactly where it comes from and which friend brought it to her. And so, year after year, the tree becomes richer, the stories more numerous and interesting...
