There is no magic formula, and there is no product which simply removes cellulite. The problem of orange-peel skin needs to be addressed with a multi-pronged attack. Hypotoxic diet is one of the key components in the fight against cellulite.

  • Fresh fruit and vegetables are the main ingredients of a detoxifying diet because they are rich in nutrients, easy to digest, and contain a large amount of fibre.
  • Include plants which act as natural diuretics in your diet: asparagus, dandelion, artichoke, cabbage, lettuce, leek, lemon, orange, grapefruit.
  • Avoid cured meats because they often contain additives which significantly increase water retention within cells.
  • Consume as little salt as possible.
  • Drink at least eight glasses of liquid per day, preferably still water, and drink the first glass in the morning, on an empty stomach.
  • Drink a cup of dandelion tea every day. Dandelion contains ingredients which promote liver function, eliminating harmful substances and toxins. It also helps in releasing water and waste products from the bloodstream through the kidneys.
  • Add dandelion leaves to your salads as well or cook dandelion just like spinach. The same applies to nettle leaves.
  • Drink green tea.
  • Milk thistle is an excellent detox plant and it also helps regenerate liver tissue.
  • Balance your gut flora with useful bacteria (probiotics).
  • Physical activity is key in preventing and treating cellulite because it strengthens the muscles as well as promotes metabolism and the exchange of oxygen and harmful substances.
