Why is folic acid or vitamin B9 important?

Folic acid has a positive effect on kidney cells and is very important for metabolism.

It is important for DNA synthesis. Needed for the metabolism of sugars and amino acids (glycine, methionine, histidine). Folic acid has a positive effect on kidney cells, but also has a multiple role in metabolism: it is a hematopoietic factor, it not only affects the formation of erythrocytes, but also promotes their maturation.

Pregnant women have an increased need for folic acid, because it is important for the development and preservation of the fetus.

When a large amount of vitamin C is taken, it enhances the secretion of folic acid. When there is not enough folic acid, there are not enough antibodies either.

The best natural source: acidophilic milk, leafy vegetables (spinach, chard, kale), egg yolk, melon, apricot, pumpkin, avocado, beans, black rye flour.
