The wasp sting

The fruits of apples and pears, grapes, plums... have ripened. For the health and beauty of the skin, let's consume them as much as possible, and we can even do a detox. Since they contain plenty of vitamins and minerals, they will revitalize the entire body, and all these effects will be fully reflected in the appearance of the face.

When fruit is ripe, it attracts insects, especially wasps and bees. Their sting can lead to a local inflammatory reaction, causing pain, redness, and swelling.

How to help yourself

In the case of a bee sting, it is important to immediately remove the stinger. The sting site should not be massaged. First aid involves applying a cold compress and, if necessary, applying a cream containing an antihistamine to the sting site. Symptoms such as severe pain, swelling, the appearance of a rash all over the body, or difficulty breathing should be monitored. In the case of these symptoms, take an antihistamine tablet orally and seek medical attention immediately.

First aid at home

If there is a localized reaction, the sting site should be washed immediately with mild soap and then rinsed thoroughly with cold water.

Lemon juice

Soak the sting site well with lemon juice. Continuously drip it onto the sting site, without rubbing or patting, or place the lemon juice on a cotton pad and hold the compress on the sting site for half an hour. The pain will disappear, and swelling will not occur!

I personally experienced the effectiveness of lemon juice. While picking apples from the ground, I suddenly felt a sharp pain on the pad of my thumb. It was a wasp sting, which I didn't see while picking apples. I immediately washed the sting site with mild soap, rinsed it with cold water, and applied freshly squeezed lemon juice. The pain, which usually lasts 2 to 3 days, quickly subsided, and after some time, it completely disappeared!
