Skin Stem Cells

Skin stem cells are located in the skin’s deepest base layer and are responsible for the self-regeneration of the skin’s tissue, collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid, for the skin’s youthful appearance and for recovery after injury. As we grow older, the number of skin stem cells starts to decrease, and their ability to repair the skin becomes less effective. Plant stem cells will help extend the life span of skin stem cells and retain their properties.
