For beauty, shine, and hair health, perhaps the most famous are Indian, Egyptian, and Moroccan women, but the fact is that women worldwide have been nurturing their hair with natural plant oils since ancient times, and problems with dry scalp, split ends, dandruff, hair loss... appeared with the use of shampoos and conditioners. There are now numerous hair care products enriched with plant oils on the market, but if you want to be sure that your hair and scalp receive a sufficient and proper dose of plant oils, learn to prepare masks and treatments for care yourself. Oils are suitable for hair and scalp care because they supply the hair with essential fatty acids and vitamin E, prevent dandruff and dry scalp, protect against fungal infections, repair damage, and nourish the hair. Interestingly, most of the oils you use to nurture your hair are also edible, which perfectly fits into the NiKEL philosophy of inside and out wellness.

Argan oil is obtained by processing the fruit of the argan tree. This tree grows only in Morocco and is known for its rejuvenating effect. It is also called "Marrakesh Oil" and "liquid gold of Morocco". Argan oil is a valuable natural oil, has a light structure, and contains all the components to maintain hair health.

Castor oil is very thick and should be applied in small amounts, especially if you have weak and thin hair. As a conditioner, you can apply it to damp hair, but you can also put it only on the tips, wrap your hair with a warm towel, and keep it for at least an hour. Castor oil promotes hair growth, reduces damage caused by chemical treatments. For dandruff removal, mix 1-2 tablespoons of castor oil with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, gently warm it up, and massage the warm mixture into the scalp. Leave the oil to act for at least an hour, then wash your hair with shampoo.

Coconut oil is classified as a superfood. It is one of the richest sources of saturated fatty acids. It is highly valued in hair care because it improves scalp health. For dry and damaged hair, regular application is recommended. Keep coconut oil on your hair for as long as possible, even overnight. It is excellent as an intensive nourishing mask. You can also use it before washing your hair. Thoroughly massage it into the scalp and leave it to act for 15 to 30 minutes. Then wash your hair as usual.

Olive oil strengthens the hair, revitalizes the scalp, prevents dandruff, promotes scalp circulation which stimulates hair growth and reduces hair loss. Olive oil is excellent for caring for dry and oily hair because it soothes the scalp and promotes oil regulation. Always use natural virgin or extra virgin olive oil.
