Maintain air humidity

In addition to the usual measures and various ways we can boost immunity,maintaining air humidity plays an important role in protection against infections and viruses. There is increasing talk about the importance of keeping mucous membranes moist as one of the body's primary defenses aginst infections. The relative humidity in enclosed spaces should ideally be between 40 and 60 percent. Dry air in heated enclosed spaces is a significant enemy of moist mucous membranes. Besides ventilation and possibly placing water containers on radiators,air humidity can also be maintained using ultrasonic air humidifiers to which essential oils can be added. We at NiKEL are big fans of essential oils. We believe that aromatic essences have miraculous powers! They contain a part of the Universe: the warmth of the Sun, the strength of the Earth, the calmness of the Moon,dew and rain,wind and air! Essential oil is the essence of a plant in its most concentrated form. Essential because when left in the open,they disappear without a trace,evaporating into the ether like mist: you'll recognize true essential oil if you drop it on a paper tissue. Once it evaporates,no trace will remain. Besides their unquestionable mood-altering scent,essential oils also possess medicinal properties and can alleviate some ailments.

For bacterial and virus infections:

Mix tea tree oil with citrus oils,such as grapefruit and lemon,which leave a pleasant scent but also act antiviral. 

Stress and anxiety:

Lavender,mandarin,orange and chamomile

Concentration and memory:

Lemon,rosemary,peppermint
