How to prepare carrots?

By eating lots of carrots, the body stores excess beta-carotene in the skin, giving it a yellow-orange tone.

This is a common case in children because carrot puree is a common baby food. But that’s not worrying. Carotenemia is a harmless condition that passes when carrot consumption returns to normal.

Nibble on raw carrots and eat it for as long as possible! The fresher it is, the better! Try to buy it at the market, not in plastic wrap.

The advice to avoid carrots when keeping a diet because it contains a lot of natural sugar is not worth it. Only beets contain more sugar than carrots. But the fiber that carrots contain prevents that sugar from rushing into the bloodstream and causes increased insulin secretion.

When preparing a salad or carrot stew, add a few drops of olive oil, because vitamin A is released only in combination with fat.

In addition to the roots, the leaves of young carrots (cima) are rich in vitamins and minerals. It's a great stew. It is prepared as spinach, or simply steamed and seasoned with a few drops of olive oil and a little garlic. Eliminates bloating.
